EHTHS Student Testimonials
How would you describe the AP Studio Art class to an incoming student?
"AP studio art is one of the most rewarding classes ever, if you’re interested in art. Sure, its really terrifying at first, but once you get the hang of being in it, it’s not scary. You learn a lot and your artwork will develop. "- T. Whaley
"AP Studio Art is a course that takes a lot of hard work and dedication but in the end, your skills and work ethic improve so much."- K. Foster
What have you gained/learned from the experience of taking AP Studio Art this school year?
"I learned to not be afraid of taking risks or making mistakes. I was also introduced to super cool new mediums that I never used before."- R. Paduani
"AP Studio Art has increased my overall appreciation for art"… "it has been a learning experience to find your strengths and weaknesses. I used to think painting was one of my weaknesses, but the more I dabbled into it, the more I fell in love with art. Also, time management is something I’ve become more aware of this year. [This class] made me become more decisive and motivated in making art."- J. Redding
What suggestions could you make to a future student taking AP Studio Art?
"Don’t quit, and it gets hard and very stressful, but it is so worth it. The amount of improvement and growth I noticed in just a few months is mind-blowing."- R. Paduani
"Have a schedule/plan for each piece starting in the beginning of the year. Start working on concentration right away."- J. Cherico
"I suggest that they don’t waste any time and any free time should be spent making art... It doesn’t have to be for the course, you could just be doodling, but you always want to be improving your skills."- K. Foster
